Two ways to scale
Most scaling comes from running multiple accounts at once, up to the firm’s limit, or from moving to a larger account size. Some firms also raise contract limits as an account grows, so check the plan’s scaling rules.
Account limits and total allocation
Firms cap concurrent accounts and total funded capital. If you plan to run many accounts, a firm with a low cap limits you no matter how good the rules are.
The economics of more accounts
More accounts mean more fees and more rule exposure. If the firm pays a higher profit split on the first slice of profit per account, spreading profit across accounts can keep more of it in the top tier. Run the numbers before assuming it helps.
Manage the added risk
Running several accounts multiplies the chance that one breaches a rule. Track every account’s drawdown buffer and payout status in one place.
